Every week, each of my siblings and I are supposed to pick a project to do that involves some kind of work. This week I decided to give Molly a haircut since she was needing one pretty badly. She really hates the vibrating clippers, so I did her hair completely with scissors. She turned out really cute!! I have given her hair cuts before we she turned out really... Not cute. But she looked good today!! The first picture is from a couple months ago when she was a shaggy little dog. Now she's a sleek, fat dog!! ;)

EFY 2012
Last summer I went to EFY and never blogged about it, so here ya go!!!
I hadn't been planning on going to EFY until two weeks before it started. I hadn't really wanted to go, but then I decided that I'd there was one available near my house I actually would really like to go. I looked it up and there were lots if spaces at and EFY only 2 hours away from my house, so I decided I wanted to go!! But then… my brother Corry also wanted to go, and he specifically wanted to go to a BYU campus. We were all very surprised because Corry had never mentioned an interest before, but my dad said he would see what he could do and started searching. He was able to get us into BYU Idaho, get us plane tickets to Salt Lake City, and plan on having our cousins drive Corry and I from to Idaho from Utah. It was a big adventure!!! Less than two weeks later Corry and I flew to Salt Lake City and our uncle picked us up. We then went to our cousins family reunion for two days in Park City and had a blast, then our uncle drove us to BYU Idaho!!! It was crazy!!! We then went to EFY and had an amazing, spiritual time. My company was really awesome and I loved my roommate!! The girls in my dorm were so nice and we all had a great time learning about the gospel together. One of my favorite activities of the week was when we all paired up and than prepared a missionary lesson from the handbook Preach My Gospel. We then pretended to be missionaries and taught two other people, then we switched and they taught us. And I always love the speakers!!! At the end of the week my uncle and my cousin Franklin picked us up and drove us back to Salt Lake City to fly home. On the way home we stopped in Idaho Falls and saw the King Tut exhibit in some random tiny museum. So cool!!! It was an amazing week and I had fun being with my brother.

New Years Eve 2013
Happy new year!!! It's 2013!!!! 2012 went by soooooo fast!!! I had a pretty crazy New Year's Eve, but it was super fun!
Sunday was my friend Kraig's birthday, so my friend Nathan and plotted to give him a surprise on New Year's Eve. We did it even though we gave him a surprise party last year!!! This year was much simpler, 3 guy friends and I went to his house, grabbed him, and ran up the drive way with him. We put him in the trunk of the car and drove off!! Don't worry, we let him out of the trunk before we left his neighborhood. ;) We took him to khols to get a new tie, Walmart to get snacks for the party, and dollar tree for glow sticks. Then we went to his house for a party with a bunch of other friends. It was fun, with lots if snacks and pizza bites. After the party we went to the dance and had a blast. So much fun!!! They had an "outdoor restaurant" with pizza and cookies. Yummy! And a few minutes before midnight they rolled bubble wrap over the floor so we could jump on it after counting down. So fun!!! Happy new year!!!!!!

Christmas Day 2012
It's Christmas!!! It was so much fun!! It was a great morning with the family and lots of fun opening presents. My sister came in my room at 4:45 to wake me up but I refused to get out of bed until 5:20. Even then it was way too early and I only got up then because one of the silly kitties had gotten his hind legs entangled in a plastic shopping bag and was running around the house like a crazy cat! We woke my parents up at 6:10 but they told us to go back to bed it was too early. Finally at 7 we were all up again, ready to unwrap presents. Lots and lots of fun!!!
Church the week of Christmas is always my favorite if the year because if all the Christmas music. Christmas hymns are my favorite, I especially love "O Holy Night", as well as "What Child is This?"
Merry Christmas everyone, it's a great time to spend time with family!!!

Christmas Trees!
Christmas tree time!!! I love the smell of pine, it's so yummy!! This year we kept our new tradition and got two trees. They're both pretty but I like our big one with colorful lights better. We have lots of ornaments that are special, it's fun to use them every year. Merry almost Christmas!!!
Ornament Exchange
We made these cute owl ornaments for and ornament exchange we're doing. I think they turned out really cute! We used scrapbook paper and hot glue. Cute!!
I got the pattern for the owls here: http://juicy-bits.typepad.com/juicy_bits/2009/12/131-give-a-hoot-for-the-holidays.html

Girls Camp 2012
Girl's Camp was awesome! This year was my fifth time going to girl's camp, and my third time going to a place called Camp Buckhorn for camp. Camp Buckhorn is on mount San Joseito, which is the sheerest mountain in North America. I thought that was pretty neat, but it also meant that we were at a very high altitude for camp which made it harder to breathe. This year, I was a youth leader. This meant that when everyone went to specific activity rotation, I would stay at one place and help. I would help the girls doing the activity with what ever they needed help with, whether it was tying bows on their crafts, or helping the glue faux flowers to the flip-flops we made. One of my favorite activities at camp was the hike, which surprised me that I liked it so much. I almost didn't go on the hike because my stomach was hurting and it was hot, but I decided I would do it anyway, and I was really thankful I did. It turned out to be a really awesome hike, but parts of it were so steep it was more like rock climbing. At the beginning of the hike, our guide Brother Van Wagoner told us that it was "an easy hike on flat ground till the very end, where there was a little hill, and it was almost completely in the shade." Everything he told us was technically true, but the "hill at the very end" was a bit more then a little hill. It was a very long, steep incline that went on for a while. Afterwords he told us that he said it was an easy hike because if he had told us it was a difficult hike, no one would have done it. Because he told us it was an easy hike, everyone went on the hike and we did it even though it was hard. If we had known it was difficult, a lot of people (including me) wouldn't have done it in the first place.
Me before the hike. I was still oblivious to the fact that I was about to do something very difficult, as you can tell.
Claire and I on the way back from the hike. We were both very tired and very frazzled, but we had fun! We had to take lots of breaks and sit in the shade on the way home because we were both so worn out, but we made it back!
Claire, Me, and Rachel. We climbed some neat rocks at a place called the Indian Caves. The Indian Caves were where we hiked to, and they were pretty neat!
Me by the Indian Caves. At camp, there is a different theme for each day, such as crazy sock day, crazy hair day, and pink princess day. The day of the hike was pink princess day, so I hiked in the pretty pink tutu that I made. It was fun!
Laurie, Rachel and I by the Indian Caves.
Rachel and I by a waterfall near the Indian Caves. There was lots of small waterfalls along the trail, and they were all super beautiful.
At lunch with Claire. There was a big cafeteria type place where we all met to eat. Claire and I aren't in the same ward, but we still ate together sometimes. Rachel and Laurie are in the same ward as Claire, so it was nice for us all to eat together.
Claire, Laurie, and I got in a super fun water fight. We got very, very wet, but it was pretty warm at camp so at least we dried quickly! Claire and Laurie are wearing Indian Princess/Pocahontas outfits because every ward chose a princess to be for that week at camp. Their ward was Pocahontas, and my ward was Ariel from the little mermaid. I do not particularly like Ariel, but it was fun to decorate our cabins with seashells and fish balloons.
Me at the pool! It was nice to go swimming right after the hike.
On crazy hair day, I had very crazy hair. Sister H (Claire's mom) put a pine cone in my hair with a pink fluff on top. It was pretty awesome.
Well, camp was awesome, it might be my last year, but maybe not.

Oh, and I don't have a camera that works, so all the pictures were taken by Claire. :)
One of my leaders took a bunch of pictures, but I don't have them yet. When I get them, I will make sure to post them!
